“Game-Changer: LEGO Fortnite Unveils Formidable New Weapons”
LEGO Fortnite, the delightful blend of two widely successful gameworlds, is stepping up the pace with its Player versus Environment (PvE) gameplay by introducing a formidable series of weapons currently under development.
Since its launch in December 7, LEGO Fortnite has held strong against other gaming powerhouses such as Roblox and Minecraft, captivating both young and mature audiences. By merging the thrilling survival shooter aspects of Fortnite alongside LEGO’s classic family-friendly appeal, LEGO Fortnite offers a unique and highly-engaging gaming experience. The game developers, Epic Games and The Lego Group, have taken serious steps to ensure the game is not just fun but also provides a safe and secure environment for the younger players.
A New Arsenal: In-Game Challenges Get A Boost
The buzz with millions of LEGO Fortnite gamers globally can only mount as they await new adventures with challenging environments and formidable enemies. The game can considerably elevate its replay value, courtesy of a selection of leaked upcoming weapons. A set of posts on X (originally Twitter) gave a sneak peek into the new weapons under development, featuring: a bow, stud gun, and gravity gun. While these may seem like everyday weapons to seasoned gamers, they are pivotal in making PvE gameplay more exciting.
A Closer Look at the Upcoming LEGO Fortnite Weapons
The Gravity Gun is set to be the most powerful weapon in the lineup and seems inspired by the immensely popular Half-life series. With capabilities of grabbing objects and using them offensively, there’s an air of excited speculation about how overpowering this weapon will turn out. Also added to the ranged weapon category is the Stud Gun, touted as being fully automatic and adept in handling multiple combat scenarios, though its exact ammo capability remains unknown. There’s also a hint of a new ‘BaseBow’ weapon, likely a more powerful Crossbow variant with slower reloading and firing speed.
The new weapons haven’t been launched yet, and it remains unconfirmed if they ever will be. However, if LEGO Fortnite decides to roll out this new arsenal, it is rumored that some weapons, such as the Gravity Gun, might be available in different variants, including Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Compared to the currently available arsenal in LEGO Fortnite, these new weapons hint at an impending shift in the game’s mechanics.
LEGO Fortnite is available for free download from the Epic Games store and dedicated console stores, including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X, and the Nintendo Switch.
