Since its release a few weeks ago, LEGO Fortnite has rapidly gained a passionate following. Epic Games has been intriguing gamers by adding LEGO-styled skins, including the widely adored Star Wars characters like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Leia Organa. With the strong ties between Star Wars and the LEGO brand, players are enthusiastically building Star Wars-themed structures and vessels.
Celebrating Star Wars in the LEGO Universe
The first-ever collaboration LEGO had with another brand was with Star Wars – a partnership that has proved hugely successful, leading to merchandise, animated features, and multiple video games. The most recent offering was LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in 2022. While waiting anxiously for the next instalment of the LEGO Star Wars game series, fans now have LEGO Fortnite to get their creative juices flowing.
New Exciting Games in Fortnite
December saw the release of three new games in Fortnite: LEGO Fortnite, Fortnite Festival, and Fortnite Rocket Racing. Each game offers unique gameplay within the Fortnite universe. Epic Games has also recently announced that Fortnite Festival will soon have support for instrument peripherals from games such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band. This expansion opens up possibilities for drawing players who are not hooked on the main game.
